1. An unlimited take back feature.
2. The option to play Black.
3. Options to save Games.
4. Option to auto replay the saved Games.
5. An ingame help file which explains the colors and arrows.
6. Option to display coordinates on X and Y Axis outside the board (instead of inside the board)
1. The ability to load files at least in pgn format. (And Chessbase?)
2. The ability to set up a position for analysis or insert a FEN string.
3. The ability to input all moves manually.
4. A window with the list of moves, including variations. (With colouring to matching board highlights?)
5. The ability to comment on and rate moves.
6. An opening book.
7. ECO code for and name of an opening.
8. The ability to change the playing strength of the engine. (Maxed out at intermediate level; but analysis strength not affected?)
Since this is aimed at novice players, a training mode might be useful – basic tactics and best moves; endgame exercises.
How about Chessology for the MAC??
