Uninstalling Chessology

The Chessology software is quick and easy to uninstall.

Time required

Uninstalling Chessology should take no more than a couple of minutes, less if you are already experienced in uninstalling software.

Uninstall Steps

Note: The example screenshots used in the following steps are from a Windows 2000 version of the Microsoft Windows operating system. If you are uninstalling from Windows XP or Windows Vista, the windows may look different. However, the steps will be very similar.

Step 1 - Control Panel

Open your Windows Control Panel.

Step 2 - Add/Remove Programs

Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon in the Control Panel (if you are using Windows Vista, this icon is simply called Programs).

The Add/Remove Programs window will appear.

Locate and click on the entry that corresponds to the Chessology Sampler Program

Step 3 - Confirm uninstall

Click on the Change/Remove button. The following window will appear for a few moments.

Then, the following message box will appear asking you to confirm that you really want to uninstall the software

Step 4 - Uninstall

If you still want to uninstall the software, just click the Ok button and the uninstallation of the software will begin.

The following window will appear for a few moments while the software is being uninstalled.

Step 5 - Uninstall finished

Once the software is uninstalled, the following window will appear, confirming that the process is finished. You have successfully removed Chessology from your computer.

Just click on the Finish button to close the window and terminate the uninstallation program.
